Fifth ex-Old Park to join the exodus to Ongar CC, following Jamie, Joe, Paul and Jarvis. Former 1st XI opening bowler and middle-order batsman, finally returning to cricket after missing four seasons, after getting serious yips playing away at Love Lane in 2004! Now reincarnated as a patient opener/middle-order batsman, but will bowl again one day!!! 2nd XI debut vs Epping (H) 13th June 2009 1st XI debut vs Old Parks (H) 8th August 2009

Left handed opening batsman who likes to get on with it, also who desnt have much luck when it comes to Umpires giving doggy LBW's, Joined Ongar in 2008 after 12 years at Old Parkonians of which 2 years where as 1st team captain. Also right arm medium fast bowler and I hate losing . Nicknames so far are Russ and Zammo
Matthew Adcock
Right hand bat, right hand bowler, handy with both. nick named madcock (work it out from my name)
Rapidly developed to become one of the first name on teamsheet for 1st XI and still more to come. Bowls and scores runs rapidly.
Took over Sunday captaincy in 2009.
Sam Adcock
Sam is a dynamic cricketer, and has torn many teams apart with his collingwood style seamers and deceptive spin bowling.
Recently taken on role of 'cricket coach' and runs training session.
Steve Adcock
Right hand batsman. Right arm slow bowler.
War horse Adders is top class cricketer despite his aches and pains.
An explosive top order batsman who can take any attack apart. He has a safe pair of hand in the field and an intelligent cricket brain. Can often be heard to say "I'm too old for this"

Solid opening batsmen who can occupy the crease for long periods of time and never gets intimidated by the opposition. Reliable slip fielder.

Elegant top order left handed batsmen who on his day can destroy any attack. Returns to cricket to join brother Jas, a combination which racked up many runs during their time at Eton Manor.
Deceptive spin bowler.

Classy right handed batsmen. Can play shots all round the wicket and scored 74 in his debut 1st XI game.
Handy right handed bowler who has in the winter of 2009 developed his leg spin to add variation to the Ongar attack
Neal Clark
Ageing wicketkeeper and right hand batsman, very occasional off spin bowler.
Nobbler is highly competitive and doesn’t like to lose. He became Ongar's first oversea's export when he played at Willetton CC in Perth from October 08 to January 09. Enjoys a joke and a sing song in the shower and when not playing cricket, he can be found at Upton Park watching his beloved West Ham.
David Coles
Right hand batsman.
Regular opener and Vice-Captain for the first eleven and able to deputise as wicketkeeper.
Prolific run scorer and an excellent gulley fielder.
Can bowl in very desperate situations.
Recently gone a bridge too far on Sundays and has also become a landlord.
Joe Curtis
Another ex-old parks who has recently stepped up to be 1st XI wicket-keeper.
Solid pair of hands and when needed steps up with the bat so score vital runs.

Mario is an italian South African....confused?
A useful swing bowler who gets wickets at crucial times. A genuine number 11 who wouldn't know one end of a bat from the other and bought his last bat from eBay for £1.00 ! A really nice guy who smokes cigarettes that look like matchmakers and drives multicoloured cars.

Chris Sims
Right hand batsman. Broke into the twoose in 2001 and contributed
some useful runs. Scored his maiden century against Woodford Green. Upright and powerful on both the front and the back foot but rather impatient at times. The youngster in the camp and gets the brunt of the mickey taking but always takes it in good spirit. ITMD !!!
Paul Stolworthy
Tall Paul is an integral part of the team. Strikes the ball very well and is handy with the ball.
Scored maidan 100 for the 2's in 2009 to win the match against local rivals Epping
