Match report Ongar lost the toss and were asked to field. Old Parks started well on a very very good batting wicket and the score was racing along. The bowlers stuck to the task with Lee Paris and Steve Andow being particullary unlucky not to take wickets. The Old Parks captain however decided to rack up a score that was impossible to chase, despite being advised against it by his own team memebers, and virtually killed the game stone dead by not declaring untill on 300. The Ongar President at half time added to the captains team talk by saying "lets give these boring ****s nothing". which we basically did with the captain taking 29 overs to score 24 runs. The 2 uplifting moments of the day were a fine 6 from Mathew Adcock and 51 runs from the President, who I think is now enjoying his cricket? Ongar finished on 169 for 5. ZZZZZZZZZ
