Match report Ongar won the toss for the first time this year and elected to field.

The bowling went well with Jonathan Browning claiming 3 early wickets to put Southend on the back foot. The Southend middle order fought back with S Humpy (39) and M Humpy (100 no) seeing the home side to a comfortable 238 for 8 from 49 overs.

Ongar got off to a fine start with Luke McCarthy (40) and Michael Humphrey (42). However, this was followed by a mini collapse before Anthony Brown steped in with a classy 67 and Ross Darby chipping in with 33 which took the glory boys close to 200. Requiring 10 of the last over, Brown got out after hitting a 4 and Sid Selner (2) tried to score a winning boundary was bowled on the last ball to end the match on a draw.
